Today I've compiled several of my recent Winter inspired speed cleaning, decorating & homemaking videos into a super long Winter Clean With Me Marathon 2022! my favorite Christmas tradition coincides with decorating. my mom is adopted and her biological family is irish/German. so there is a custom in Germany that hotels would make and put candles in thier windows to tell people there is a vacancy since when Jesus was born "there was no room in the inn" ( Luke Chapter 2 is the story of His birth). this tradition then spilled into German homes. so every year we make block wood candles (with battery operated led lights) and paint them and put them in the window sills in each room to represent that our home and our hearts will always have room for God. yall have a Merry Christmas and God bless you!

I did a stovetop potpourri for all my friends, family and neighbors this year. Everyone LOVED it as an alternative to sweets. I used an orange, cranberries, cinnamon sticks, whole cloves and sprigs of rosemary which adds nice Christmas color. Tied it up in a cellophane bag with a cute tag with instructions. I think this is going to be my annual gift go-to. It smelled so good!

Newer subscriber and absolutely love your channel and calming voice. You get down and dirty with cleaning for sure. Love how you show “normal” living is. Our decorations are a bit sparse. My hubby and I are grateful to have Christmas with both our adult children. Had to get a new tree (2’ small tree) we love it. My daughter, in her apt, had a sticky note with TREE on it stuck to the wall. Lol. We had a good laugh on that. She has since moved back home and that makes my Christmas for sure and our 18 year old son is still home too. So you definitely could say we are happy mom and dad. I vacuum my hard floors. I rent and my apartment has vinyl and tile flooring, except the bedroom. I rarely sweep. I love how modern vacuums come with hard floor setting.

Suggestion, instead of that jut string hanging from the light use fishing string. I also use the fishing hooks, then afterwards I put corks on the fishing hooks so I don’t get stuck.

I had never seen a clean with me channel before and to be honest I thought it was an insane idea! Watching someone clean for hours! I didn’t get it. I am a traditional one Christmas tree person and I have to have a fresh tree. When my mom or grandma used faux trees when I was growing up it was very disappointing. 😂 Fresh trees are not very economical nowadays, but I love selecting the tree, the wonderful smell, the beauty of the tree itself, the needles on the floor, refilling the water bowl, the whole nine yards! 🎄

Roomba! It doesn’t get everything 100%, but it is such a timesaver. Hardwoods, carpets, everything. I work, so have no time for anything that isn’t absolutely necessary. It runs every day.
