I was very curious what A smoke bush looked like and you are right, stunning. I agree that dried flowers add such a unique translucent glow. And depending on time of day, the sun or a candle glow , the color will vary, warm, soft or even stark. I am not a huge fan of artificial, sometimes it just seems so heavy. But What I love about you is the texture content. The combinations of texture. I love that dark brown vessel, love. It almost look like they burned the wood. I have seen them do that that to wood paneled fences for the backyard. It is kind of a beachy feel. Like what wood would look like on a beach after a campfire. I love it. I can't wait to see what you will do. Well I am so excited to see what is next. You have alot of ideas floating in the air. I have to admit, I can't imagine how it is going to work. But....you are always a ray of sunshine. The unexpected is always expected. Always an Aha moment. New year brought in Cold cold weather, to Illinois. But the sun is blinding bright. We are expecting soon tonight. So maybe a little fresh air time for shoveling. And snooping around the garden. The birds are out, looking for treats. I love that cold crisp winter air, and a nice pot of tea to warm up. Contemplative time of year. Thinking and dreaming of my seeds and garden. So glad you are back. What a nice surprise to see your beautiful glowing face. Happy New Year my Friend

Good morning Zakiyyah, you have explained so well the reasons to spend money 😄just joking!! It was a most informative chat. I do love the natural colours and textures, they really are unbeatable. Can't wait to see what you plan with the bedroom. All the buys are lovely, the cutlery is lovely but not practical! Love the shape of the spoons, but... no. I thought the dark wooden canister shape would work well for the ornamental grasses?, and the candle snuffer was an excellent find. I had two made of brass but they did not last, too refined. Linen is so beautiful, only thing are the creases, maybe steaming them is better, depends how fussy you are, the smell is gorgeous. Your home should smell great, hence we use diffusers which are very expensive, but a fresh tidy home is unbeatable. Enjoy your decorating, hope it turns out to be as you planned. Fortunately you can chop and change to your hearts delight. There are still 3 months of winter left in the northern hemisphere so just enjoy the season, this is what winter does to me, it does give me a bit of a down, hence I can colour my hair, give the house a good dusting or whatever you feel will aid your mood it is not a bad thing, it is just phycological, we are after all just human. My husband always enjoys the smell of the furniture spray, I try to use it very sparingly, it must be complimenting the wood and I thought as I was listening to your talk, our bedroom needs a round gold trimmed mirror! Hello friend!💗 I'm so excited about the bedroom as well! For some reason I am really in love with the candles snuffer. I think it's because it feels like such a custom, handmade piece. You know, I don't mind soft wrinkles in linen and I actually want them in the bedroom because it brings home the idea of beachside, relaxation. I'm a little dramatic when it comes to my design concepts, lol. I remember my mom using lemon furniture polish and I remember the smell😊 I can see why your husband enjoys it.
