Winter Electrolyte 1 - denatured alcohol & electrolyte test

Yea winter is coming and we need to find a solution that will keep our cells from freezing.
With that said, lets look at adding denatured alcohol to our electrolyte and do some testing before we just throw this stuff in our systems.

If you are still working on the antifreeze factor in your cell. Isopropyl alcohol 99% solution, you can pick it up at the grocery store. same ratio, 20%. Works great. I use it in my Ford Aerostar. I also use it in the bubbler 100%. Another item I use is a dessicent filter, harbor freight - 7.99, use it on the output of the bubbler, takes all the moisture out of the gas. That's electrolyte, water(steam) and alcohol leaving clean gas on the output side.

Florida is pretty nice. Here, it's all about the beaches. We live about a mile from the coast, and the longest, whitest sandy beaches you could imagine. The "Non-Seasons" aren't great, though. We only have about 2-3 weeks of really freezing weather (and i mean like maybe 20's to 30's). All the seasons kind of blend together. Then there is the humdity. UGH. My wife is from Canada, so she knows what northern weather is like. I don't. The Rockies are certainly awesome. Steve

sorry about the sad comment, I didn't realize that this cell was doing low 4s, see what happens raise the bar and we forget our baselines. I am pretty sure of one thing, alcohol with not electrolysize, but I am interested in the eff drop. hmm something to ponder.

When i worked a jiffy lube we added ether to the windshield washer fluid toprevent it from freezing. hope this helps, thanks for your work. 5 stars.

2.9mmw, hmmm, thats both sad and pethic. what is its normal? The decrease of combustibility is more than likely the alcohol being carried by the hho, and it didn't have enough o2 to burn correctly.
