Thanks ! Yes medium light set up for shore casting with slim profile soft bat paired with 5-7gr jighead. For inshore you can use medium setup..

nice video bro, mo pu ale la peche for the first time at the beach la. I'm used to fresh water fishing for bass, tilapia etc but i don't know anything about beach shore casting. Could you recommend me the lures i can use and what type of setup. Will really appreciate it🙏🏻

@@psychoreal2350 hello. You can use a medium light setup with 12 lbs braid. For the lures you can use the same jerk bait you use for bass fishing like rapala etc. But avoid using big lures. You can use those ranging from 5-7 cm

Hello, I’m visiting Mauritius later in the year and was thinking about buying a travel rod to do some shore/kayak fishing in the reef. I was thinking of getting a spinning rod with a max lure capacity 50g and something around 2.7/3m total length, paired with a 5k reel with PE2 braid. Is this a viable set up or you recommend something else? Also, is there anywhere I can rent a fishing kayak while there? Many thanks and great video!

@@DM-ny5wz hello 5k size reel is a bit too big and heavy. I recommend serie max 3000 for kayak fishing(inshore) and serie 2000 for shore casting. Travel rod can be used for shore casting but is a bit too weak for kayak fishing. You can use a 2 piece rod 7feet medium light or medium. Kayak can be rented here but you need to have your own transport to bring them to the beach! Hope it helps !

@DM-ny5wz for inshore you can catch 5-10lbs depending on where you are fishing. I normally use 12lbs braided line and 15 lbsflurocarbon line for inshore. 5-7 grm jighead
