Good try Dan..you are a brave man out in that cold. Its toooo cold this week..next week looks to be in the 50 degree range. I tried casting a free red sparkle lipless crankbait around Garrisons walkway and rip rap this weekm i couldnt believe how cloudy the pond was. Any..no bites but it was nice to get out and get some casting in.

The only winter bait I really haven't thrown a jig yet, that's a good winter bait. Big blade spinner baits work really good too as long as you are slow rolling them. That first bass was pretty good

Nice catch! I’ve had some really good luck with the bass recently at these two ponds not too far from this one. Really good genetics, there’s plenty over 2lbs. If there’s any way for me to give you the location without publicly blowing up the spot, I’d be glad to lol
