Oh nice! I'M moving to Gaspesia to make a homestead next year and since it's close of Nova Scotia, I will use your video to go forage in the woods. I already know great recipes with them since I have a formation in fine cuisine and amother one in butchery so finding these plants to make some nice charcuterie will be so fun! Thank you so much

If you like to forage you’ll love the east coast

@@ayngelina I love it! Each years I go in the Maritimes and collect beach grass to create basket, wild roses fruits for making jam, that kind of things. So leaving right between sea and forest will be wonderful

I live in Nova Scotia yet Ive never heard of this organization; I was convinced no one was doing much foraging at all around here despite looking :o Im eager to check it out!

I had no idea either. In 2021 I really started to look for new experiences at home and this one was one of my favourites

That reminded me, i loved doing this in my childhood! I gathered pine needle when i still was rather young, and boiled it for tea. I would gather mushrooms i found, curious to know about it too. Technology overpowered my mind and senses, disconnecting me from the Source i loved so much.

It's definitely something more people are becoming interested in.

Never eat raw vegetables, you'll get sick. They have bacterial spores on the surface and often maggot parasites in them. You could develop Lyme decease or worse. Just a warning.

Even cooked you are at risk at developing the mentioned decease. Why? spores and parasitic eggs do not get destroyed by cooking. JUST A HANDS UP.
