I remember trying to beat all the world records and when I finally did i jumped for joy at the age of 9 lol. what memories.Also that epic music from the sky jump. Wow, it'a amazing how things are just engraved in your memory, remember that game so well, hehe...I seem to remember the first copy we bought was defective and we had to go back to the shop and get it shopped, and that the salesguy was actually called "Jimmy" !

He, he, he this is one of two games I still have my original mahine hooked to the TV :) :) :) Every year, when the first snow falls I play it... and sorry to tell you this Odraconiandevil... you need to practice how to play it... so many misses on Biathlon... so many falls in both skating categories... but deffinetley thanks for this nice post!

Yup. My cousin had the NES versions of this and California Games, I had the C64 versions - the epyx games were made with joysticks in mind, not d pads. The games just felt more natural on the 64.

Haha thanks for uploading this, brings back memories. The biathlon was a killer and the sounds hilarious (especially when you did a jack-knife on the Hotdog). I remember making my skater fall down all the time on purpose and got a unanimous score of 6.0!! My brother and I were in disbelief. Guess it screwed up its programming or maybe an easter egg of some sort?

13 misses on biathlon - that's super ...bad! Back in the day I used to get 20 shots of 20 possible. All fired before the marker has gone all the way - on all 5 - every time. Thus saving time. I was also very fast on the skiing part - up the hills - down the hills - straight ahead at full speed! I owned this event. Only one I sucked as was the figure skating. Got gold, but I was nothing special. Being a Norwegian I had to own this game - and I did!

Biathlon war aber ne Lachnummer. Die Laufzeit muss um die 55 Sekunden liegen und selbstredend keine schiessfehler. Oh man was waren das geile Zeiten

haha, you get gold because you play alone... still, good to see the game from when I was young. Sometimes.... you don't know if the game was real or if it was just a weird made up memory! The first one you did, hot dog I think, I just slammed my joystick in all directions and hoped for a landing. Did the same with the summer and diving!

You can get a perfect 10 in Hot Dog by doing a front flip then a back flip. The timing is really tough.

I used to be good on this game. On biathlon I had 0 misses and had close to perfect speed - getting a fast time too. And I always fired the shots first time you get the chance, else you'll waste valuable time.
