Winter has Arrived at the Long Branch!!

In this video, Winter arrives at the Long Branch Homestead. The first big snowstorm of the season has hit. Time to bring out the plow and snowblower.

Yeah Jay it's nice how the snow just blankets the landscape. Fresh snow has a way of resetting the day. I'm guessing you have snow up there

@@thelongbranchhomestead1397 totally agree. We had about a foot and a half, which then turned to freezing rain so it became a slushy mess. Since then about another foot has fallen, and it looks lovely - but the preceding slush did a number on the base layer for plowing so it's a touch of a rutted mess. They're calling for more freezing rain (weather alert!) but fingers crossed we get stuck with the whitestuff for a lot longer. So pretty.
