Snowshoeing up to the The Loch and Mills Lake in RMNP with my friend John who is visiting from Kansas City.

Trailhead Elevation: 9,240 feet (2,816m)
The Loch Elevation: 10,200 feet (3,109m)
Mills Lake Elevation: 9,974 feet (3,040m)
Difficulty: Moderate
Conditions:
Clear Sky and windy at higher elevation
Temperature: 25F (-4C) at the trailhead at the start of the hike.

You should give it a try, they don't slow you down much and they have great traction going up hill.
