The banter between the guys was good at times but, yeah he let that part of the filming run on a bit too long & the audio wasn't the best he's ever done. This is sincerely meant as constructive feedback. A lot of people won't have a bad word said against him & saying something negative seems to be taken as moaning & an absolute sin, but having seen all Posa's videos over the years I can definitely see a drop in quality, especially over the last 8 months or so. I accept there will be a reason for this & I'm not having a dig a him, I'm just saying what I see. If you compare the quantity & quality of content from the last 8 months to that of, say, 2021/2022 there's a definite difference. There will be a legitimate reason & I hope whatever that is turns out to be temporary & just an inconvenience rather than anything serious for Matt & Family. At the end of the day the most important thing is their health & wellbeing.

Totally agree with the quality comments. No other companion brats Monty period and not having Monty around is an auto deduction imho. He gets brownie points if Ruger comes along. I still feel that the winter bushcraft videos were the best and sorely missed those this past year.

Let's just all try to remember that Matt is a human being. Yes this channel is a responsibility and privilege, but he does have a life outside of it too. We never know what is going on with somebody. Even battling depression can be debilitating and make us not want to do the most simple things. I hope everything is okay and I do miss the uploads, but my entertainment isn't more important than his well being.

Right on the money there. For an outdoor content creator Matthew puts out some of the best long form videos out there and does it on a consistent basis, sucks to see some people putting him through the wringer because there hasn't been an upload for a month. Like I get that it sucks if its something your looking forward to watching on the weekend, but lets not all lose our heads over it. Hope all is well with Posa, and he gets back in the saddle when/if he wants to.

Meat chili with beans is such a good, calorie dense food for winter conditions. It helps hydrate, has a lot of calories and protein, and just tastes good. I would add egg noodles to the chili instead of the bread, egg noodles are easier to carry.

Gosh, I am so envy! So much snow!!! And the view is just awesome 😍😍😍in Hannover, Lower Saxony in Germany, we had just 2 days of snow this winter. And it was just enough to cover everything, so it looks like powdered ( 2-3 cm). And it didn't last long. Just for 2 days. Matt works hard for his youtube wages, I couldn't do what he does, humping canoe, luggage, and dogs, fishing for his own supper, cooking, setting up, tearing down, being a doggy daddy. Of all the youtubers, Matt deserves a nice long break here and there. Summer is almost here, he's not fond of Summer camping. I'd be exhausted for weeks after a long flight and skiing / hot tenting holiday.
