Thank you for the tour, I would love to visit Scotland. I've recently discovered Scottish ancestors and am so thrilled! I've always been drawn to all things Scottish, so maybe it was my "many times great" grandmother calling to me! Rest and be well.

I live in Edinburgh, and there are many interesting places sometimes with strange stories. There are a whole series of holy wells on the outskirts of the city. There is the story of the little drummer boy on Carlton Hill on the door, the fairy land which goes back to the time of the mediaeval city when the hill was outside the city walls. Before the railway was built, the Norlock was in Princess Street Gardens, and you looked down on it when you went to the Christmas market. Edinburgh Castle was then known as the castle of the maidens with links and images of swans.
