When I don't drive on dry pavement in winter, I slow down to 80k. I stay behind slow divers far enough. They're a good gauge to see if the pavement is slippery or not. Most of the time, in winter, I follow truckers from far away.

No, the 2 companies are not competing directly. I could have tried to renegotiate a new Sutco contract but to be open, getting a contract set up last 2 times was like pulling teeth and took 3 months, at Trapline it was 1 phone call and 1 email.

Great video Juan as always. I have a queation for you as you said you use your brakes going downhil instead of the engine break. Dont you overheat your brakes that way?

Yes, you have to come downhill much slower. I often do click in the engine breaks, but only while I'm drawing the breaks, to make sure the truck doesn't slow more than the trailers.

Well, the air compressor is for the air breaks and air suspension, but it can also be used to fill tires

You know...... I don't know, I'm not sure where to find that info. It's a company truck, and they specked it to pull a 53-foot quad axle, so it's a bit underpowered.
