Winter Jig fishing on Pine Flat Lake

Just a day out on Pine Flat Lake having a good time catching some fish. Some tips for you guys next time you are getting short bites and not connecting with fish.

Enjoyed your video. Boaters always think they can drive over kayaker's spots just because they have a boat. I fish Success and Kaweah a lot. Way smaller lakes than Pine Flat, so you can imagine how disrespectful boaters are towards smaller watercraft.

Nice! I have the same problems, I lose spotted bass on the hook set. Not sure if it's a small one or I'm not letting it eat the jig enough.

Thank you. Sometimes it is smaller ones which is why you dont connect. The bigger ones normally commit and eat the jig.👍

I was throwing a 1/2 ounce keitech jig with a twin tail grub trailer.

If you’re catching multiple fish in the same cast, it maybe a school of spots fighting over it. They do that on livescope.

Its hard to say, but your probably right. Sat in the same spot all morning and caught them just about every other cast.

Some Bass boaters in socal do that 🤷‍♂️. Wish our lakes were bigger
