I am Dutch and as a child we always spend our Hollidays in the summer in France ( Ardèche). I even had a French boyfriend for a whyle but it wouldnt last. A Bûche De Noël? Every year when I was growing up, no matter where we were in the world, we had 2 bûches - one to eat and a real one with candles. I continued the Réveillon tradition with my children. Fois Gras! I love the taste despite the controversy! (Another treat that was part of the Réveillon feast, along with oysters, escargot, venison, tourtiere, and roasted fowl). Your tree is perfect! A real tree too - how wonderful! Matt is going to have a magical medieval and modern Christmas! He's a lucky boy! The weather in Menton looks almost summery! Imagine going to the beach at Christmas and then going skating. LOL! Only in the South of France! I live on an Island in the rainforest on the west coast of Canada. There is no snow here either but skating is still a common winter activity. I really wish Tourism would sponsor your videos! Your talent for photography, film, editing, and storytelling is true artistry. Your vlogs do more to promote tourism and lifestyle than any of the 'official' websites. Watching you prepare food made me hungry! I can't wait to check your other channel for recipes! Coucou encore une fois de San Diego ! Oh, comme j'ai envie de flâner partout dans ton village ! Que c'est beau et tranquille ! De nouveau, mon mari et moi venons de regarder et on se détend, on rigole et puis ça me donne envie de pleurer parce que c'est si beau ! On habite un quartier près de San Diego, CA qui est tranquille, bien sûr, mais pas de tout comme ton village. Et tartiflette et raclette, oh mon Dieu !
