@@conalbennett8259 I have been fishing for pike when allowed to of course over the last year and six months. Putting in at least 2-3 days most weeks and fishing anywhere from 2-10 hours. I don't dead bait either (yet) so everything I am catching is on lures. I had lost 3 fish prior to the that beast too with the fish not fully dedicating on the hits and was ready to give up when I tried one last swim and BANG the thing completely Inhaled the lure and put a decent scrap! I was hunting a double figure. Now I am hunting a +20 🎣🎣

I’ve never had a double. My pb is 20lb 9oz (in my profile pic) It’s just the way it works some times. My next biggest is 7lb 3oz. My mates the same. His pb was 3lb 8oz then he caught a 20lb 8oz pike, he’s caught doubles since but in my area we’ve found they’re either under 8lb or over 18lb.

*Great item. First cast out of the package caught a nice bass. Pulls smooth in the water and sets up nicely immediately upon retrieval. Worth adding to your tackle box.*

You should come fish the Severn. My uncle used to pike fish on it all the time and had a large number of doubles a few 20s and a lot more pike. He was even invited to a national piking competition

Dan, Help!! Can't find fish anywhere! Been to 2 canals, 1 river, 1 reservoir, haven't had a fish hooked in soo long. Don't know why! Have covered lots of water, good tackle just seems like no fish anywhere! Set up - Abu Garcia ProMax Baitcaster combo, have tried Guppie Jr, swimbaits, rubber shads, spinners, froging, rat lure, waiting for Muiras Mouse to arrive. Where have all the fish gone!!!

Last time I was down I got 6 other side of bridge in december all on deadbaits smelt and lamprey biggest 12lb and 11lb. Top river to fish love it down there but cant travel now cos it's a 50 mile trek there and 50 miles back home. Gutted

Yes you are allowed, look on the angling trust website. But either way, it's not the law, it's a regulation, you're not breaking any laws going fishing. Don't worry about those CV "enforcers", they cannot touch you and have absolutely no authority over you. Film every encounter with them or the police though for your own safety.

You frustrate me with the ease you flick the O/H baitcasters. I just don’t, haven’t mastered the ease with which you JUST flick the lure half way up or down stream. Do it so easy, love it. Maybe I gotta do a bit more practising. 😫😫😂🤣🇦🇺 (Are all the streams/rivers ur fishing freshwater. Do you ever get into a saltwater environment.)
