Right! It's an inexpensive way to repurpose glasses that you already own. Pro tip: Keep the clear lenses in case you ever want to switch back. Just make sure you get a professional to do it. I attempted switch out the lenses of my glasses once and spilt a pair of glasses in two. Stupid mistake. LOL. And thanks! Looking forward to wearing the silver Tabi's irl.

I used to be too trend focused when I was younger but somewhere in my thirties I learned to just trust my gut and stopped paying so much to the trends. Now I’m my 40s I’m much more confident about being experimental and I’m more focused on adding quality pieces to my closet.

Love the tabi boots & your collection of glasses, uh yes! 😁 I wear prescription glasses too. For distance & close up at this point. So, I do realize how important they are & how nice it is to use them to style up an outfit. You do it well 🥰The polo shirt is pretty cool too. I purchased a neutral knit one at COS recently. I just discovered you and the tinted lenses on prescription glasses is such a bloody fantastic idea, I can't believe I never thought of that. But I do wear contacts. Btw, I have the broken mirror tabis too and loooooove them. Can't believe how comfy they are. We have a bit of a similar fashion point of view, and may I be so presumptuous to invite you to check out the Hermes daydream sneakers in black and white! I'm obsessed with them and wear them with everything imaginable. And finally you said 'both genders' - which brought a tear to my eye, I was so moved. ;)

Welcome! Thanks for letting me know about the Daydream sneakers. Assuming they're comfortable right off the bat? My tolerance for uncomfortable footwear is almost non-existent these days lol. And yes, tinted lenses are a must-have for me. I haven't worn contacts in 15 years after a bad experience so now I just stick to my trusty ol' glasses. ;)

I’m a 74 year old woman who has a more simplified style, but I really love watching your videos and how you put these looks together. Your style is quite unique and looks great on you. It has a masculine quality, but you manage to inject some very thoughtful feminine pieces here and there which is very pleasing. I want to know more about how you get your glasses. Do you use a local shop, online, etc? I live in Alaska and we have limited choices mostly chained like LensCrafters. I think you mentioned an online store. Hi Liana! Thanks for your kind words! My style is truly my own and half the time I don't second guess what goes together. I just listen to my gut feeling and the joy that I feel towards certain clothes or accessories. :) As for the glasses, I get mine made through a local shop. I've been going to him for 15 years now and he gives me a good rates. I used to go to Lenscrafters WAYYYY back in the day but I found their markup to be very high. Now I'll buy my frames online from places like SSENSE or Saks off fifth when they're on sale and I'll have my prescription put in. Also check out Costco if there's one available in your area. Finally, I partnered with an optical company a few months ago called PAIR Eyewear and they did a fabulous job. Everything is done online and the process was seamless. I wear those glasses almost everyday when I'm working at my computer. Check them out and if not, see if any local optical shops in Alaska can offer you a good rate. Hope that helps!

Thank you for this great info! We do have a Costco and my current glasses are from them. I’m Asian and we Asians tend to have a flat bridge over our noses so most of the time we need those risers that help the glasses sit properly on the bridge of the nose. Stylish ones like you have often don’t come with those risers, but I’ll keep looking.

Great video, loved it. Tint in the glasses is a brilliant idea. Those Tom Ford frames are so cool. I find only certain shapes suit my face and I have a slim nose so plastic frames don’t usually work for me, but I’m going to explore more shapes that have a 70’s vibe. I watched a stylist video earlier and she suggested having at least three sets of sunglasses to suit three words that describe your look. I thought it was a good idea. I just need cheaper taste in glasses. 🤔😬
