Winter Planespotting at Karachi Jinnah International Airport

Karachi ..it would not be complete without the birds and the Eagles !! And of course excellent capture of the Jets out of Jinnah Intl. That TK 777-300ER was a treat. So glad you got that TK 706 and the Air China, however CA 946 was to Beijing in 2019. Great memories of those flights. And the Pakistani skies would be incomplete without the ME3 though EY arrives and departs early in the morning. That EK landing in the background was wicked!!! 👍

Thank you so much sir. Really wanted to see the Etihad flight, as one day it was operated by the 77W. Sadly because it was such a late flight, I could not see it. It was really interesting to see they switched CA946 to CGO as opposed to be PEK.

@@Abbas2105x they have always flown big planes to Karachi. Only for a short period between 2016-2017 Turkish flew 737’s to Pakistan. Otherwise, they have been flying A330/787/777 regularly to Pakistani cities.

@@ASAviation They flew the 737s when they flew twice daily. Fortunately when we missed our connection at Istanbul from Toronto we were out on the later flight or it would have been an overnight stay. (Don't mean to promote my videos but you can see all these TK flights on my channel 🙃)

@18:15 this landing gear issue happened a lot with Mike-Hotel ... I used to think he forgot gear lol but it's becuz sometime gears get heated becuz of constant brakes so they're cooling it probably

I believe it is due to brake cooling. I saw this same instance with a Hawaiian A330 in 2016.

They are flying the A350-1000 daily into KHI on the nighttime flight. I flew the A350-900 from KHI-DOH and that video inshaAllah is coming soon. The daytime flight is usually the 787, A330, or 777.

Oh wow I didn't know that! Last time I flew into khi was an a350-900, and I flew out on a 1000. They were both night flights if I recall correctly. Is it because of the connection times at Doha? They probably have to use the larger plane for the night flight to accommodate connecting passengers into khi?

@@Abbas2105x The night flight was a 777-300ER for the longest time but they recently upgraded it to A350-1000. I think that may have something related to connections as most US-bound flights depart within 4hrs after that flight lands in DOH. But still the daytime flight is operated by similarly-sized planes.

@@ASAviation that makes total sense, I was traveling from DFW to KHI about a year ago. They upgraded my seat on the last 16HR leg to DFW in the Q suite in the a350-1000. Honestly I don't think I've ever flown on a better flight. Ever since have been a fan of Qatar Airways and their a350s. Sad to see them grounded and halted with the fiasco with Airbus. Hopefully Boeing can make a come back!
