While I love your modesty, I think you are an EXCELLENT floral designer. I can't even decide which potted arrangement I love best, because I love the simple small ones with the cyclamen or heath, but I also love the bigger arrangement with that AMAZING fastia Japonica, wow! Thank you for sharing, and God bless!

I’ve grown Fastia’s for years but I’ve not tried this variety before, it’s very pretty. I do like the results of a floral arrangement in a vase or a bucket, I just wish I had the patience to plan one and then execute it slowly rather than bish bash bosh which is my approach. Thank you as always for watching and sharing 🙏😊

You have created such a cozy garden retreat. I love the patio area. It is stunning. Thanks as always for sharing your garden with us. It is always hard to say goodbye to the garden season. At least for me. I am in LOVE with the heather in the basket. I am also going to look up the Fatsia x japonica 'Spiders Web'. That is a gorgeous foliage plant.

The paving on the patio has turned a putrid green and black from the constant wet weather, very slippy underfoot but we giggled when I removed the parasol from the table. We’ve used it as an umbrella this year to shelter from the rain rather than the sun, it’s been one of those years. The Fatsia is very pretty, I’m going to add it to one of the white borders in the spring, under guard so the deer can’t get to it 😊

@@thequarrygardener5578 I'm looking forward to your next video. Thanks for letting me know the deer enjoy the Fatsia. I hope to find some for my back garden which is luckily fenced in from the deer.

Love what you've done with all the containers and your floral arrangement is stunning. I can imagine how pretty the urn with the obelisk is going to look with some lights. You've inspired me to do something similar. Thanks for another great video Sue. I appreciate that they don't just happen!

Thanks for that Wendy. It does slow you down videoing jobs you’re trying to get done quickly but what has surprised me is how much I enjoy the editing side of making the videos. It took some willpower not to string the lights around the obelisk now, but I’ll wait until nearer Christmas. It's great to hear you’re going to try something similar. I’ve several more obelisks I might use again this Christmas, it will be lit up like a runway in my back garden 😊

I must admit I’m keen to plant up containers for Christmas, but I resisted, at least until November. Don’t want to rush through Autumn as the weather has been glorious here in Northumberland for a couple of weeks, not often I can say that. Thanks for watching and the lovely comments! 🙏😊

Thank you for that, until KZbin I’d never bothered with a camera or filmed a video before, it wasn’t my thing but I’m enjoying learning a new skill albeit a camera on an iPhone 🙏😊

Hello Sue, your pots and floral arrangement are always beautiful, don’t sell yourself short. That Fatsia is just so striking! Unfortunately we cannot grow them outside here in our zone 4b-5 Quebec Canada. Everything is cut down now and all the furniture and pots are put away for next year. We cannot leave anything out due to heavy snow loads. Will you plant the Fatsia in the white borders come spring? Hope you are having a pleasant fall. Bye for now🇨🇦

Hello Linda, I forgot how cold it is for you during winter. I love to see all of the snow covered landscapes in Canada on tv and KZbin but what I forget is how long the snow and cold weather lasts. Here in the UK it snows and disappears usually within a week, two if it’s a bad year. We wouldn’t be able to function if we experienced snow and cold like you have every year, we are a nation of softies. I will add the fatsia to the white garden in the spring, I’ve had one before and it grow huge and I stupidly dug it up and planted it down in the lower quarry. The deer devoured it last winter, I should have known better. We are enjoying lovely weather, it’s been so nice for several weeks, blue skies and dry days better than the whole of summer! Speak soon 🙏😊
