Spray starting fluid on the brake drums and light it. (With air valve in) For frozen air lines and valves in trailer put airline antifreeze in the red line on tractor and hook to the blue glad hand on trailer. (Leave the other line disconnected). Then get in truck and release the trailer brake valve. This circulates the antifreeze through the system backwards and cleans the screens on valves.

We are all having fun watching Larson Farms videos! The more equipment a farm has, the more maintenance of course. Let's get to work boys. Worn out equipment sounds like auction time. Frozeen brakes means flame thrower time. The horn on that truck sounds like the horn on aHonda mini-bike made in Britain. Say goodnight to Load King till later.

Watching y'all working in extremely cold weather🥶 makes me glad I live in TX!🌞 Yesterday we hit 84° & today we had a much cooler 60°. I spent all my life putting up with Indiana winters until moving to TX 3 years ago, after retirement. I enjoy your videos. Try & stay warm!😊

Thorough maintenance saves time and money in the short, medium and long term. Cleanliness and order in the boxes of screws, screws drivers, hammers etc are also part of the mix. Those are the lessons I learnt in watching your vlogs. Had no clue lill mice could be so dangerous!

Use tire shine on the rubber flooring. It'll make it a little slick but nothing will stick to the floor and they will shine like crazy. Little trick we used at TMC for company inspections.

Just a little fyi you can take a butane torch to the air distribution valves on the trailer run it across there and in freeze the air lines. That’s where the brakes tend to freeze.

Have drivers pull drains on the air tanks all the way around, just like a shop compesser. Don't need to drain all the way just hit empty to get moister out and add a LITTLE air line alcohol

Put the air line antifreeze in before it starts getting cold it never hurts. Use mop n glo on the floor mats of the tractor or vehicles. Dust doesn’t stick to them

It's condensation builds up in the brake lines just like on a gasoline vehicle the condensation can build up in the tank if you don't keep it filled and then freeze in the gas lines

WD40 in a semi trailer air system is almost like magic. Gotta do it while it's warm still and pump alot of it through. Probably half a quart worth but I tell ya it gets old sticking air valves to work and tend to not freeze up in the cold

Maybe invest in Optima batteries. Initial cost is high but they last a long time. I currently have 4 of them in my Pete that I installed early 2014. I initially ran them a year and a half in the oilfield on extremely rough washboard roads that normally kill regular batteries in one year. Since then almost all highway miles.

The tire wore out fast like that due to outside tire being more tread…. The smaller tire will spin at a slightly less speed and will burn the tread off insanely fast. Always match up tire height
