@Mustang Sally...Thank you for your question. We live in NW Philadelphia right near Fairmount Park..one of the largest city parks in the world. The neighborhood is loaded with beautiful old homrs, gardens and trees. We have three world class hospitals within 20 minutes of our home. Also 9 grocery stores. At our age this is important. Vermont and New England is my soul's home but for the medical, the convenience Philadelphia can't be beat.

Just felt the need to thank you Kyle for allowing us into your world. I'm of a diffent generation to you (my kids are older than you) and I live way over the water in the UK. But you've inspired both my wife Christine and I to seek more of a calming influence from nature. Luckily we live in a rural setting surrounded by trees and streams.(and we've also got an old and much treasured F100 short bed), so I guess there's a connection there. So please carry on sharing your creativity with us it means a lot.

I loved the video Kyle 👍🏻. The mention of Chet Baker helping to shrink the world down to an intimate friends mutual appreciation space. I once owned theaters and played the doc “Let’s Get Lost” about Chets’ life at my Art twin. Bonus is having a friend who knew Dave Van Ronk on a personal basis. Kudos to your Dad’s musical taste. During the Christmas season I listened repeatedly to Diane Ziegler’s “Christmas In Vermont” CD. So organic and beautiful 👍🏻

Thanks, Kyle and Al. Over the couple of months since I've found you, you've rekindled my desire to capture life though my old Nikon fast-glass, and thaw out the 100ft., frozen rolls of Tri-x black and white film, that I hoarded in my freezer. Twelve years ago, when I resigned my position as a news photographer, I put away my cameras and became a hospital RN, and the last 2 years have wrenched the soul. I intend to take my '65 Mustang, or my '74 BMW motorcycle back to the road , now. I realize, I don't have to publish the images, just making them thaws my soul again. What you have is spiritualism in pure form, not in the religious, western culture spiritualism, but the spiritualism that is the connection to your people, and life, and nature. I see the elements you capture. Details of life and people; the little snippets of conversations and glances. It's moments. Kind of like a science fiction movie that downloads the collection of a human life, and uploads them to the cyber-borg. It is what's human. As a journalist, my goal was to capture the emotion/feeling of a person, place, or event. Well done. Ali reminds me of my youth, with a camera around my neck ...looking. She has both the whole face smile of a beautiful child, and the unmistakable presence of a pretty woman. We like seeing the world through her. In today's deluge of media and images and words, I look forward to your videos. They remind us what's really important. It's a practice in saying what you can say , without saying it. Editing is hard, I've learned. Learning what you can leave out. You're really a master. Oh, and the wife is now a coffee snob, thanks to you guys.

I had completely forgot about a really good comedy I had seen "Pottersville". The shots of the shops and downtown area reminded me of the movie, and I'd almost swear it was filmed there? haha

Every time I watch these great bodies of work just a deep sense of warmth comes over you everything thing slows down alone with your thoughts and you take ownership of your feelings. Not to many things in my life can do that so thankful for your work Kyle it is a place in our hearts that keeps us smiling and dreaming. Thank you my friend for more of the Trout & Coffees magic experience... 🙏💗🎄🌄
