Wow, I always had hag stones strung up simply for an easy way to store them. I recently learned they’re supposed to be good luck and keep bad entities away, especially when kept near doorways and windows. Was trying to recall where else I’d seen them (in movies)- aha! Love seeing that. Nice touch in a movie where the demographic of that part of Missouri are descended of Irish / Scottish folks, which is where that originates.
