I am so happy you review alines with my opinion about Winter's Orbit.... I so badly wanted for them to have an hour or a day to talk things out. This constantly having something happening and they never having time for each other 😮‍💨...it would made the saving scene much shorter and believable on some level. An the ending still has little bit of unsure where they stand with each other ...but at leas they are now in love 🙀

This was a lovely double review! I have just finished Oceans Echo and had a really good time with it. I think I will also read Winter’s Orbit but will keep in mind the tone of the story, thank you for the forewarning. I did use to read fanfic a lot as a preteen and young teen, but it has been quite a while. I wonder if this will feel nostalgic or dated 😂

I read Winter's Orbit last year and really enjoyed it. And I went into Ocean's Echo thinking it was also a romance so I was surprised when the romance wasn't the main plot so I was a bit disappointed. The world is fascinating and all but I was there for the romance not the politics. Great review!

Excellent reviews! I really had similar feelings about Winters Orbit, but enjoyed is massively at the time anyway, so if it fixes those thing in book 2 that sounds amazing!

I read Winter's Orbit when it first came out, so my memory of it is a bit hazy. I just finished reading Ocean's Echo, and I really enjoyed it. Definitely see your points about the whole mind-expanding thing. I am glad that we saw how much they made a good team together. I held off on watching this video until I read Ocean's Echo!

I just finished Winter's Orbit and struggled a bit in the middle with the lack of plot, but their relationship and the ending won me over completely. I had a great time. Moving to Ocean's Echo next.

Just re-read Winter and dived straight into Ocean, and I had pretty much the same experience as you. There should be a third (🤞) since there is so much left to find out about the aliens…
