I believe there are a couple factors that go into people putting up with the not so great jobs. 1- they may be new to the industry and are trying to get the experience they need to move on to hopefully get into the better company or have a not so great driving record and have no other choice. 2- the trucking industry has a history of long hours, crappy pay, and crappy benefits. When I started (a long time ago) that’s what you expected. $5-7 dollars an hour and maybe health insurance. No retirement plan, dental or vision or vacation. I’m glad things have changed in the right direction.

Great episode guys! Being a recent addition to the team, I can say with confidence that there is a true positive culture present at QuiCK Transport. Although every day has its challenges, the one constant that resonates is the importance of everyone on the team, regardless of their role. I have been asked numerous times what our culture is like, and I always sum it up with 3 words: We are.... Humble: We all show a modest estimate of our own value and importance. We put other's needs in front of our own. Kind: Treating others with dignity and respect - ALWAYS (even when others are not looking or listening) Confident: Surrounding ourselves with talented people who exude self-assurance in their own abilities and qualities, but more so the appreciation of what other team members bring to the table. Lastly...I think Taylor "hit the nail on the head" when he said, it's a vibe or feeling you have when you walk in the door at QuiCK Transport. I had the EXACT same feeling the very first time I stepped beyond the threshold of the front door. I can only think of one other time in my life when I felt that same way about a place, which was when my wife and I stepped through the front door of our current home for the first time. We immediately looked at each other and knew this was our home. Twenty years later, we still feel the same, and I'm confident the same holds true at QuiCK Transport.
