Ordered mine today (red currants, scotia elderberry, and OP367 willows). I'm in Zone 9a in Texas. I hope these will be good in my area. The reason I really enjoy your channel, perhaps more than most others who do this, is because you are always looking for the most economical way of solving your problem. That is just awesome. ANYONE can throw money at the garden but trying to always McGyver it so you can keep your costs down and make the process even more sustainable? Genius!

I got my order today! Thanks for the quick shipping. For my currant hardwood cuttings, should I store them until winter (and if so, how?), or should I plant them with fresh compost and wood chip mulch in the garden now? I'm in zone 6, i have fresh compost, plenty of mulch options, and our nights are getting to about 30 degrees (though in a normal year it will get much colder, and we are liable to get a deep 0 degree freeze some time before spring). Thank you!

I encourage you strongly to consider planting everything ASAP with a generous and deep mulch to protect the plantings. We are going to plant cuttings today (12/20) with 30F as the high and 20F as the low. With enough mulch I feel confident they will be absolutely fine

All different... Cuttings can offer fruit in year 2 most times and a lot of the other stuff can offer 2 to 3 years in and onward, all the way up to n. pecan which might be a decade :)
