Wonderful I bought gel beads and had a smaller. Did not know how much they absorbed I have so so many beads. I guess they will eventually dry out. I am going Friday to goodwill to see if they have a big vase! Thank you for sharing your wonderful video! I loved it

What other winter elements do to think would be fun submerged? Already covered snowflakes and icicles. Maybe ornaments?

This is so simple and pretty! Please can you tell me where you got the snowflakes from so i can make this for my wedding in December?
@TheSparkleQueen6 жыл бұрын
Thank you! You can get these ornaments right now online or in stores (maybe even on clearance for end of season sales!). Most craft stores and even the dollar stores carry them. It just depends on what size vase/cylinder you use (width wise), so make sure you know what size your vessel is before getting the snowflakes. Good luck!

This is perfect for the event I'm hosting! Going to try and find a way to put lights underneath to shine up but I wonder if that would make the beads appear?
@TheSparkleQueen6 жыл бұрын
No need to worry! The beads should appear invisible. If you look super super close, you may be able to see faint outlines, but for the most part they are invisible. What are you hiding the light with? If it's submerged in the arrangement it will be visible.

When I go to the craft store,what do I call the beads. I've only seen people use them in video but,keep forgetting to ask what the name of them
@TheSparkleQueen2 жыл бұрын
They're usually found in the floral section, and the dehydrated ones are very small, larger than a grain of sand, but much smaller than a pea. Water gel beads, gel beads, floral beads, are all variations that I've seen them called. Some craft stores sell them dehydrated and some offer ones that are already hydrated, but usually the dehydrated ones are much cheaper. If you don't already have a strainer, I'd recommend grabbing one because it makes them easier to work with.

What are the snow flakes made of? Because I can't find them at any store (i'm from Argentina) so i'll have to do them myself
@TheSparkleQueen6 жыл бұрын
They are plastic based, with iridescent glitter. I tried looking online to see what I could find, and the closest thing I could find would be these snowflakes - amzn.to/2Mf0iAx but the size would be dependent on what size vase you are using. Can't say that I've tried it myself, but I did find these snowflakes that look like maybe they are sequin like material, but I would bet they may work if you can find some locally. These are the ones I found: amzn.to/2Mk0WN7 - note the size, same 2 inch size. Haven't tried making any snowflakes myself, or else I'd try to help with that. Good luck!
