The soundscapes! Massive frozen cliffs with bellowing winds, towering ice mountains, ancient dragon boneyards, the dwindling winter sun breaking through the endless fog, a frigid desolate and mysterious wasteland. One of my favorites! The "visuals" are amazing.

Winter solstice! Last night I took a walk in the gusty winds without my jacket (sadly by that time the rain stopped), and enjoyed myself as things twirled around me and street signs rattled, particularly when I was going directly against the wind, though the dust like debris colliding into my eyes wasn't particularly comfortable, and whilst I was walking I sung lol.

While this record is decent for journey work through the unconscious, I find that true ambient/Experimental music is far more meaningful and enticing when using actual source material that is natural. The readily obvious keyboards and traditional darkness heard on so many CryoChamber recordings leaves this release although interesting very lax. I’m too accustomed to listening to Cryo releases and hearing the same vibe on the whole of them all around. I plan to sit down and meditate with this but the usual dark atmosphere which is far from ominous and naturally haunting makes most CryoChamber releases seriously lack a true atmosphere of darkness like I’ve been accustomed to on actual recording where artists use natural source material to achieve the darkness and such that can actually take one, so to speak, on an actual journey through their own inner Self.
