with utmost respect I found out the ostrich (which is a thick non transparent and a ''substance'' type) should go the in dubbing loop. Putting it on top actually negatively effects transparency by blocking visability, its actually a noticably different look. even on a small fly. When in the loop the ostrich is in the middle so the the first layers are easily transparent- the skirm dubbing, predator wrap, polar flash etc ...... I put it in the loop (i don't put a head color in the loop. I do that manually after) and if i find there's not enough herl or a area is too short. Then I throw in a strand here or there or unwrap the loop..... You are one of my favorite tyers in the game. I support your shop and work!

What is the color of that chromatic brush? Looks different than the “Midnight” but could just be the light. Nice tie!

Playback speed at 1.5x, you’re welcome. Great fly and not trying to be rude with the above because I overuse these types of styles. Didn’t know it was called the Dirty Hoh, but hey potatoe potato. Rabbit is incredible in any moving water. Most importantly though this style of fly casts the same every time. Whereas a dual station intruder may trap water from time making more less predictability.

the mumbling and lack of clear presentation make this overly long video quite a swamp.
