Not convinced that 90% plants working fine while millions lost power for a day or more. If we have 90% power of usual, at least can do 75% for all homes - that is 1 hr off in a 4-hour window. If they can do that, there will be few complaints.
@TotlKaos4 жыл бұрын
It's not the plants but the actual grid.. wires are not setup to support the heavy ice on them causing the problems.. trees and other overhanging items also break and fall on the wires.. The plants are running but getting that power to the people is the problem. We have this problem in the Northeast but not as bad as most of our stuff is built to withstand this. We still have issues but nothing like this. But then again a once in 100 year weather event is difficult to plan for.

@@gorak9000 Ice here not so much snow. Our humidity level is different here as well. Have you ever lived in this area? If not then move along because you have no idea how dangerous it is for those of us that usually have mild winters! Our roads are all iced over, it’s not the snow that’s causing the issues.

This shows we should stop paying taxes and use that extra money to take care ourselves. The government doesn't care if it's not effecting them. If we all come together we can take care ourselves instead of just waiting for answers.

Cell phones can be charged by some models of bluetooth speakers. Those speakers need to have a USB jack on them (usually on the rear panel) for this to work. Not to mention the speaker needs to be previously charged.

President Biden has sent at least 60 generators. The last I read, these generators are sitting idle in or near Fort Worth. Does Biden have to hook up the generators himself, or can Texan leadership get on the ball and use these things? Christ Almighty, Republican leadership has turned Texas into 3rd World failed state. Vote out the incompetent Republican Party next year!
