A joke for you. An Irishman moved to the US and was delighted to discover his local bar had Guinness on draft. He goes in and orders three pints. I started off firmly in the "adopt the puppy" camp. Now, I'm in the "the puppy belongs to Dan and she just loves her Uncle Brian to bits" camp. Here's why: the dogs are clean (except when they aren't, of course). Someone is taking care of them. Someone is feeding them. We don't see Brian hauling bags of dog food up to the Chateau. Lottie is bred and born to the Chateau - I'm not saying she's too old to get used to any place else, but I am saying she's pretty much got the run of the place. By now, she's pretty much got the idea that she's where she's supposed to be living the life she's meant to live. Leaving her home might break her heart. Visit your favorite niece, Uncle Brian, and spoil her rotten with wee treats.

It's a good point that she is adapted to living with a lot of freedom in the outdoors and to be limited to being more of a house dog could be very difficult for her.

@@LaReynedeNeige She might not be a house dog, but I suspect the dogs are yurt dogs. I have trouble picturing Dan putting up with completely untrained dogs and, at least in what we see, the dogs stick pretty close to where Dan, Brian, and Nick are. Lottie has never known anything but life in a construction zone. She must know enough to listen. Obeying, well that's always a mixed bag with dogs.

@@melaniehoshall6942 When I say house dogs, I think of dogs that are lucky if they get out for a couple of walks a day. Being stuck indoors for any length of time would be difficult for any of the three dogs when they are used to ranging in quite a large area at will.

Having a "dry" rehearsal for the camping stuff is a good reflex, I must say.

Use silicone spray on your tent pole joints. Helps stop them corroding or sticking.

My son wanted me to share a joke with you so you can share it with Dan and Nick. How do you make a tissue dance? Put a little boogie in it. *Edited to add, I can't believe the amount of people in these comments trying to get you to adopt Dan's puppy. My own puppy reacts to my brother the same way Lottie does with you. In no way does that mean my puppy belongs with him. I enjoy watching the reaction she has to you, it's sweet, but that doesn't mean you should take her. People need to chill.

It does look pretty cool, but the test will be the winter camping site and how warm and water proof it is. You’d better get there early to set this all up, could take a bit with all the gear, the heater, the stove, table and chair. The sunrise shot of you and the puppy was very nice. Hi Brian, had to LOL during your vlog today. It reminded me of my eldest son owing 10 tents and having them stored in his garage. I asked him why he needed so many tents and actually can't remember his answer. I figured it was because he worked for REI, here in the USA, and had one for every camping adventure or had to have one in every size??? Happy Camping to you!😊

Now you got me into camp girl mode, bought a good sized tent and everything I thought I needed, including a $100 heavy duty outdoor cord and enough rag rugs to cover the floor and have extra, then got hit with a triple stomach infection, 3 different antibiotics in one 10 day treatment, 3 times over 3 years and um 🤔 so far so good 🤞😁 most of my camping gear has yet to be used but it won't be a in winter!!!! 😄 You really should adopt puppy 🥰🥰❤️
