I think you're off by week on your film. I was there the day they had their first big snow storm. My friends and I were in The Lodge at lost power. It was quite an adventure. Been there many times and it's a great place. Next time go to the far right cross the White bridge and go to the end. You will thank me after you get there. That entire side has less snags but when you get to the very end you will thank me

I fished there quite a bit and it's not as easy as a lot of people think pretty crowded most of the time and gets a lot of fishing pressure but well worth the trip we've always caught nice fish

Trout Fisherman's Paradise = Cripple Creek! I remember going there back in the 90s when it was only 20 bucks a day to fish. My how times have changed.

It's amazing how cedars springs stocks monsters like this for the big crowds with special money. Let the people who have fished there ten time in two years an they never stick anything over 3 lbs

Soque is primo for sure but for all species, day in and day out Cedar Springs is king. I've been to all of them and this is just simply the best. Give it a try during each if the 4 seasons and you'll see why.

Might wanna start record weighing some of the fish. We fish down there every year and having numerous "10 pound" fish in one hole is very suspect. Now the fishing and quality of fish is absolutely excellent, but anyone who fishes this places alot knows exactly whats going on here

I will agree that it is not as easy to catch fish at Cripple Creek as everyone thinks. I have been fishing there for over six years. It was not until my last trip at the end of last year that I finally caught my limit of six for the day. People think you just throw your line in the water and they jump on. That is not the case! However, for bait companies that shot videos there to advertise their product, they have a better chance at catching fish since there are more stocked for them. That came from the mouth of the owner of Cripple Creek. They will throw in multiple nets of fish, where an average Joe off the street will get one net with four to five fish. You still have to catch the fish, but with more stocked, your chances increase. But truthfully that is a good idea for both parties involved. Cripple Creek is stocking huge fish that are being released back to the water, plus advertising for their business. The bait company gets to showcase their product. And this advertising works too. I saw a video that Pautzke made before my first trip to Cripple Creek. And because of that video, I purchased several jars of their product. Sadly to say, I had absolutely no luck with their product. Fishing there and back home where I live. I have never gotten a hit, much less catch a fish. Does that mean their product is not good? No, it does not. For me the Berkley Salmon Peach does the trick. However, after watching this video, I am going to purchase the Garlic flavored power bait and the Salmon eggs to give them a try when I go there the first of March.

I have to disagree. I was fishing at Big Tumbling Creek in Virginia I was using power bait androoster tails and caught 1 trout in about 2 hours. A man came came up to me and give me Patzuke Fireballs and said try these it took 30 more minutes to get my limit . Turns out it was Samuel Davidson of Team Patzuke. He didn’t have to share with me but it made my long drive worth it.
