Fish the early morning and before dark bite windows. This time of year fish tend to be out deeper over the mud. Green, gold and red are a good place to start as far as colors.

How do you keep your shack and generator locked down so someone doesnt come by and swipe it while your sleeping

Usually just by getting out away from everyone else. Generator is usually in the the truck cab once I go to bed, but I rarely use it. Shack is ratcheted to trailer so if anyone comes and starts messing with anything I’ll either feel or hear it and wake up.

It’s a tuned up custom precision noddle, 28”. More of a bluegill rod but I use it for smaller crappie too.
