TAK.

"winter" trucking in Denmark, is not really comparable to driving in winter in the three other nordic countries.

Hi, what do You think about Non salted vs salted Winter Roads.?
@Slipse
@Slipse 4 жыл бұрын
Hi Jon, it depends really, ofc on temperatures salt doesn't work below minus 9deg C. And also on how it is used, if the result has to be any good salt needs to be spread, before a snowfall, then the snowplow has to do a thorough job, and more salt needs to be applied... If the temperature is going up and down a lot, I prefer to drive on the snow, if they just even it, and they apply gravel, at sharp corners, and steep climbs, and decents.. If the temperature is below minus 11 deg C.. Snow has got fairly good friction to the tires.. So in my view, there's no straight answer to your question.. 😉

No chains that particular day, it was nice and frosty, so I just transferred some weight from the bogie axle to the the drive axle, and good old Angry Bird just climbed up the 10 % hill nicely 💪😎👍

@@Slipse I've driven for Tine this summer, but not driven on snow.. I want to do some sort of semi hauling, but I don't wanna start 4-5-6-7 in the morning.. I have no problems working late, I just don't wanna start early.
