I could be not seeing it myself, but I think as viewers we often are so quick to point out an analyzation in a parasocial relationship we’re having that is about two other people actually having an experience beforehand. if it’s someone we’ve watched and grown admiration for, it’s even harder to not wanna see them for who we want to see them as, after a while. That being said, I do respect your view, and I hope all is well and in the event there's animosity; (brace, another opinion is coming lmao) that’s normal when you work with people lol, in stressful times. no one experiencing it is enjoying it when that happens, including whoever is kind of antagonizing a situation, hypothetically speaking. but people are emotional naturally, and i genuinely don’t think he would ever be mean to him on purpose. his brazenness could be mistaken for crass in some event, sure, but i don’t see it here. i mean no disrespect if i came off rude here in anyway. i get scared to disagree online lol. fr

I've noticed for a while how Chris seems much harsher with Jake than with Sam and Justin. I always assumed because of how Jake laughs it off and maintains a positive attitude every time, it must be a running bit between them. Now that more people are starting to pick up on it I wonder if Jake has just been a good sport all along and it wasn't an inside joke at all. I hope Chris sees some of these comments because Jake is a gem. If I had someone like him in my life, I would cherish him forever!!! Chris, I know you're going through a hard time, and I know it's partially your sense of humour, but you can still be snappy and sassy while treating your friends (and employees) kinder. I'm so glad Jake is alive and well, his story sounds very traumatizing.

I adore Chris but I’ve said this so many times. For some reason I feel Chris not having his father, makes him have a bit of hate subliminally for Jake, because he is such a fatherly figure and so kind and sweet. As a high maintenance woman living in Minnesota I can tell you that ice fishing would probably be boring and miserable for you. Nose running, closed in an ice house, sitting for hours. Just not something I’d recommend on an expensive vacation, but good to experience once.

I 100% recommend going to Alaska! You get the perfect mix of city (Anchorage) and cute town (Seward) and nature! Plus, if you go in summer, it is warm enough to not have to wear a coat all of the time and you can walk around and under the glaciers without being freezing cold! I just went there this summer (and I went dog sledding).

As someone who lives an hour from Banff, I highly recommend! It is kind of a ski town in the winter but its a tourist place so theres lots of fun stuff! Hot springs, theres a restaurant that sells like alligator and stuff lol

I see a lot of people commenting about Chris being a bit off or rude this episode. I know how I get when I’m tired, anxious, or having a bad mental day in general, and I tend to come off that way too. For me, I try to act fine and nonchalant, and it comes off really bad. I don’t think he meant it but I definitely felt it. I feel like a lot of his commentary was meant to be more self deprecating and not intended towards Jake or anyone else. We all have off days, ours just aren’t broadcasted all over the internet. The only thing about Jakes screen that kept bothering me was the owl in the background. I kept looking at it and not being able to focus on anything he said. That’s fully on me and my ADHD though LMAOOO. For what it’s worth, I think Jake knows how Chris is and I think they both know each other well enough to not be bothered by it.
