What a beautiful place and so quiet too. As Derren said, a bloggers dream. I have to be honest and say, I've never had any interest in going to Spain whatsoever, but watching your vlogs has certainly changed my mind. The mountains, the colour of the sea and the little narrow alleys are just lovely and just my kind of place.

What fantastic weather you have, I came back last week…gutted. Altea is magnificent, the other week it was all dressed up for Valentine’s Day. If you go up the rock in Calpe, don’t take too much with you, just enough water. It’s a trek but thoroughly worth it. Enjoy.

Altea is just gorgeous. Derren tried going up the rock previously in another vlog, but he was on his own and didn’t fancy a section of it as it had been raining the day before 😊

It was so gorgeous there, and clean, everything was like it hadn’t long been painted pure white, so glad we finally got here. Definitely the best time to go for sure as there was very few people…and we like it when it’s quieter 😍xx

It was top of our list to visit here, so we are absolutely chuffed we managed it on the way back 😍 Thought it was only me that not only admired the beautiful architecture around, but then contemplated how long it must have took to actually complete it 😜🤣 100% feeling the cold, thought we went away for 3 months to escape this 🤣 But however…we did see the Isle of Man 2 days ago…never seen it before xxxx

It will give us some money back in the bank…we spent a fair bit of money in those 3 months as we were forced into campsites, but don’t regret a single penny we spent. Oh my we really miss this one…this was so high on our list of places to have to see and we were so disappointed that we couldn’t get a booking there when we were originally going south, so it was an absolute delight to get a booking on the way back. Derren really loved this place to photograph as well😄 Not going to lie, the last few days have been extremely cold, thought we had gone away for 3 months to escape this weather 🤣🥶😍

Awhh glad you got back to Altea and thanks for taking us there, we only saw the sea front and the main through road on our cycle rides and then went to a couple of restaurants on the sea front as well - did you see the big galleon ship one? We didn’t know there was an old town which looked lovely so if we get there again we will have to go and explore. Weather looked bloomin gorgeous ☀️ Great place, glad you enjoyed it there 😍

We are so chuffed that we managed to visit here, it really annoyed us on the way down that we couldn’t find a site. The old town is really well hidden, you can’t see it from the beach front unless you walk quite far down the beach to the port. We saw that galleon one, it was really popular, and we were unsure if the food was any good ie was it busy as the food was excellent, or were people choosing it as it was gimmicky? 🤔🤣😍

Blue skies always make all the difference…and that must have been a huge laurel bush for it to take 5 hours 😳 Definitely the best decision for us to work as wardens….loving it so much. Who would have thought that going round the fields litter picking could bring so much joy 😍 Altea was stunning, loved it there loads, and yes we are absolutely missing not travelling right now, but equally we are loving being wardens….it’s brilliant isn’t it 😍 xx

I tell you what it’s right painful….sunshine to -2 and snow! I thought we went away for the winter to avoid this period of cold 🥶 Lots of chic restaurants and bars at the front, and all of them nicely busy…we did partake in dinner out and a Fanta - yes Fanta - after 👍😜
