Hi Tracy, we are so glad we returned back to Calpe to see the old town, and the famous red and yellow steps 😍 That red building…we seriously considered booking an apartment for 1 night as it’s supposed to be a photographers delight inside 😍xx

Calpe is always really busy, in fact most of the pitches still had the same people on that were there when we visited 5 weeks prior 🤣 People were booked on there for months. We will be catching up with yours over the weekend 👍😍

Loving your love of Calpe, same story with my old sketchers, although on rainy days they let me down. New hair do? Id like some grown, lets see how this goes! LETS GO! Not a problem for a map, ive got a million of those Spanish maps.. arent they the ones where you follow the dots to the pirate skulls!? No OS detail here! 😂 oh yes thats a Spanish map, this could take all day! Great markings though. Love the red and yellow stairs. Some lovely clean buildings and a distinct lack of the usual graffiti, very lovely. Another amazing day guys xx ❤

Can’t believe that the Spanish don’t really cater for men’s 10+ size 🤣 The Spanish maps are usually quite amazing, well it does depend on the region your exploring as we found out. The Costa Blanca was excellent with their maps…Andalucia not so 🤪 😍❤️xx

@@TheBabblingBrookes ive got a few of the highest detail maps for several mountain regions and areas, claiming to be 1:25.000 scale but clearly lacking. Compared to ordnance survey they are a real joke! I suppose the local maps of towns and tourist spots might be of better clarity. 👍

The haircut was actually done by a German lady 🤣 but it will be in the next video as we wanted to keep the video shorter 👍😍

I've needed a new pair of trainers/running shoes for months, glad I didnt attempt to look in Spain then as I'm a size 12 😂 Be interesting to see how you got on with the haircut, I did it twice over there and neither time could we understand each other...improvising with pointing and hand gestures just about worked 😂 Nice video, the steps looked beautiful 😍

We went back to Calpe specifically to see the steps as we missed them first time 🤪 The haircut went well…it was a German lady who spoke excellent English (thankfully 🤪) Derren got very lucky on the shoe front for sure 🤣🤣
