Thanks for the tour! I have never been to Borås myself (as far as I remember) but now I got to see some of it, lots of interesting information given as well. Enjoyed those two beautiful churches, very impressive. Seems like a nice city, it looked a bit hilly with lots of elevation up and down. Not an easy city for bicycling! The area you reach at around 28:20 with those square massive containers look very much 70-ties architecture, you can see it in almost all cities in Sweden. One really wonder what kind of buildings were torn down to give room for those shoeboxes. I like the open are at around 33:00 and the central station looks great!

After you mentioned it I got curious about the old buildings and started searching for old images from around the square in Borås and at the time you mentioned, 28:20, the building on the right side sadly replaced a really nice looking old building, the old building got torn down in 1967. @@MiddleAgedSwedeGoesForAWalk Thanks for looking that up! That is interesting, such beautiful buildings that used to be there, worked perfectly with the rest of the square. Instead torn down and replaced by somehing very unpersonal and bland, so so sad. I think in a lot of cities in Sweden, the politicians, the merchants and the construction companies got a little too tight with eachother and came up with projects that should never have been approved. Ok, in some cases the new buildings replaced buildings that were shackles and not worthy to live in, but the building here I can't imagine was in such a bad shape that it couldn't have been fixed up if needed. I think there was too much money around to make in these constructions projects, might even have been some corruption involved.
