I think the idea behind reinnapper is to get rid of ultrabuffed low mana cards that light, nature and aggro deception like run. Sure they get the base copy back after reinnapper dies but the buffs are gone and so is a huge threat.

Thank you very much for this review which is very informative. 1. Spirit storm and frozen rest are going to amplify Rockdrakes to a total new level. Both cards can buy time, till 6 mana for OTL. 2. Thawed Heart is an effective weapon against Anubians/Rockdrakes/Martyres and even control light which depends on void. 3. Wonderwagon is basically a Switch dualist. They expect to play 2 spells each turn. Play a spell >attack with 6 damage. Then play a spell to keep the creature at 6 health. 4. It seems like Wondercat messes with your own relic too. If thats the case its a downright inferior card. 5. That Winter Bounty card can create a brand new control nature archetype. Lets say at 6 mana your health is 20, this card can make it 40. Thats like doubling your health. Then you can summon Thaeriels, Demos, Helian Elites and whatnot. 6. Woodcutter imp is crazy. There are no other 3 mana Godblitz creatures in the game (forget Thaeriels acolytes). Guarenteed face damage 7. I thought all those Champions are, sort of bad.

Deception didn't even get a "this could be cool.. maybe".. funny, considering Ludia is the "poster character" for this set. Also funny how her gimmicks are now in other domains, swap health and strength (Pallas' Wanderwagon), take control (Take the Reins), deck rig (Unexpected Gift)

Oof, this is going to be rough for Aggro decks. As for me, I mostly play Aggro and Midrange decks. So with this, I think it's going to be tougher to stay in Mythic as a budget player. But I'm okay with that. If you want to compete at the highest level, then you really need to spend resources. Again, adapt to the situation with what you have and just do your best. Plus, this set is not yet locked, so they can still balance it. Thanks for the vid, Copper :)

Unexpected Gift is a great concept... but can lead to a 9 mana stalemate. If 3 or 4 of these are played and both players are out of cards, you can potentially get stuck in a healing loop. Buffing both players for 12 hp per turn. Infinitum.

Super late but I just saw your video. My biggest problem with take the rains is the stealing. War should not have the ability to “steal” or “take control” of an enemy creature. It just does not fit with the logic of the war domain. War domain to me is strength speed armor and protection imo they should just focus on that. No reason to blend deception into war kinda weird.

Control Nature runs a ton of removal tho, so if they have armor, just lightning strike etc. But yeah, if their whole deck is armor this card is dead. That should be extremely rare tho
