@@tez-ellis Yeah 8 kilos?!? I carried 17 up that route on my first wild camp 🤣🤣 All in a Eurohike Nepal which had to be the most uncomfortable backpack I have ever owned.

@@Karma-qt4ji Same as me then mate - my first wildcamp was this exact same route with the Eurohike Nepal as well 😂😂

Good job for having the nerve to get out there in the first place, you will enjoy it. I always say, that everyone has to start somewhere. And if you believe that someone is laughing at you, there not. Your just reminding them, when they done the same thing twice or thrice.

Not to be that guy, but this is autumn weather. Winter starts a few days before Christmas (21st in the uk). You're lucky the water and paths weren't freezing/frozen like in the winter. Make another video in late January or in February and see the difference. Good, straight to the point delivery. Keep it up. This was a good one. You have good confidence and a clear voice. Few things. 1: Gear and clothing are designed to make you stay warm. You still have to make your own heat. 2: I recommend you get a rechargeable hand warmer or a mini hot water bottle. This you can fill with water from nearby and dont need to be clean. Chuck that directly on your feet. 3: Also important is to take a walk/jog or do some kind of exercise before sleeping to get a workout. This will warm you up and tire you out. Follow it up with a hot drink. 4: You should try waterproof socks if your shoes are not. I use sealskinz. 5: Thank you for leaving no trace and talking about it. Always promote this! Subbed.

Thanks for the feedback and the sub really appreciate it! Should’ve mentioned in the video that I used the Nalgene bottle as a hot water bottle as one of the perks of a Nalgene is its high heat resistant plastic. Will also be making another one of these in January so I can truly tick off Winter camping so stay tuned for that 🙌
