Winter Wonderland Nail Art on Short Nails!

Hiya Duck,
We’re back with Fay and we’re going to do a Northern Lights/Winter Wonderland inspired design on her nails today.
I’m going to start with Base Coat and then two coats of my Base Colour and I’m gonna keep everything super thin for this set.
I’m then going to take my 4 ‘Northern Lights’ colours and spot them around the nails, starting with the darkest and finishing with the lightest colour. I’m then going to use Matte Top Coat with the Fay’d brush to blur those colours together a little. I’ll then smudge in some Amethyst for some texture and sparkle.
Once that’s done, I’m going to use White Out and the Messy Nessy brush and the Baba Case brush to draw my trees and use Void to add shadows. I’ll use the dotting tool on my Pammy Picker Upper for my snowflakes. Once that’s cured and Top Coated, I’m going to go over little sections with White Out and sprinkle my White Acrylic Powder to sugar the nails. Posted pics of finished design on the KZbin group page, you know my favorite Christmas set you've done? The ones with the angels, the ones that were 3d acrylic, they make me happy and inspire me, just the design makes me remember to be hopeful. It's not really about the gifts and lights. It's the people celebrating with you all year round. Live this set as well, I'm glad to see a set on Faye that are short and a design that's not flashy or blingy. I think they are beautiful.

These are a really pretty set 😍 Similar to what I’ve done on mine right now. Be interest to know how they wear as where I’ve sugared the acrylic over the top the colour seems to be staining from oranges I’m eating and make up. Tried cleaning them with IPA but doesn’t seem to make any difference 😢

I would love to know what product the window artist uses to paint them with out coming off in the rain. Absolutely gorgeous just like Fay !Love when the two of you get together and adding in Adam just makes for a perfect happy time. Great tip on how to do snowflakes with the doting tool with always starting back to the center each time placing a dot. I was surprised you did not use white glitter for sugaring Fay's nails she always bling's it up .

I think the windows are done with paint marker pens, I used to use them for window designs for Oddbins wine merchants, they come off with a scraper. 🙂
