We found a log cabin near us and did exactly this, it’s so calming and peaceful to be out in middle of nowhere with just a fire. Can’t wait to watch more content subscribed 🎉

Starting at 9:35 I love the pep talk you gave us. It really made me feel good inside. I just get down sometimes because I have so many responsibilities and so darned much crap to do that sometimes I just wonder if it is all really worth it. Very nice video, Janne! Happy New Year to you! Reminds me so much of Maine with the snow covered pine trees and winter wonderland. I've slept in a lean-to shelter just like that on a sea kayaking trip a few years ago. Warren Island, Maine is a state park in Penobscot Bay and only accessible by boat. Thanks for sharing another intersting video highlighting the wonderful country of Finland, I hope to see more like it!

The forest views surrounding the Lean -to structure are just amazing and such a calming place to just take in all of the wonderful beauty of the forest and relax in solitude ☺️ That was a very nice jacket you were wearing!! Happy New Year Janne! This was a beautiful outing! The light in the forest was very pretty and the snow on the trees! I loved the sound of the fire and the footfalls in the deep snow. I grew up in Central Pennsylvania and we got snow there (not as much as Finland!) I have lived in the desert (Arizona) for the last thirty years and today it rained, a very thick, misty rain and it snowed up on the mountains surrounding my city. This is a treat for us desert dwellers! It was nice to see how well built the lean to was and grilling sausages this time of year was probably a very warm treat after freezing, waiting for the fire to take off! That's what probably got all the squirrels interested, lol. Thank you for a very special episode!
