Fantastic video, thx! I used it for my winterization session this afternoon. The only step I needed was I had to turn the cone-shaped mesh screen gasket in the fresh water hookup around to engage the pump. Once I did that, all the other steps worked nicely. I also remembered to turn the gasket around back to the original position when I finished up. Thx again for a well thought out and explained video! 😊👍😊👍

Great video. I hated winterizing with the manual valves under the bunkhouse in the TT. Love the Nautilus system. Its amazing how much water is still left in the system even after draining everything. Safe travels.

It was filmed back in January when we got back from Savannah, but it’s still applicable

Don't forget to get antifreeze into your outside spray/shower outlets. Voice of experience speaking here, LOL!!!

Great Video. We decided not to winterize this year. We are heading to Florida and will the camper, "Nilly" there. We are planning trip(s) in Dec , Jan, and Feb then in March we hope to be able to bring her back to Ohio. Hope to see you guys on the road someday. That’s our kind of winter camping. This was filmed last season, not ready to winterize this season. We have a trip to Florida planned before we winterize. Safe travels! If your in Ohio in December let us know

Great video, thank you for taking the time to put this together. I spent way too much time looking for the water heater bypass before I found information on the Nautilus system. What about the black tank rinsing connection? How do you get RV antifreeze in that port to prevent freezing? Thank you
@ThoseWhoGlampTogether Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment! If you really want to put antifreeze in that line, you’d have to use a pump to push it in.

Thank you that is a great video. We have a 2023 North Point. It also has a nautilus syststem so I assume it is just like yours. My question is what about the outside water hose hookups? Same way I assume? Thanks again!

Yes all outside water do the same.

I like the idea of blowing out the lines. I assume you would leave it in city water mode and then use the air adapter to connect air to the system. Which valve operates the water heater bypass? Also would that clear any water from the pump or would I need to suction some antifreeze into the pump?
@ThoseWhoGlampTogether Жыл бұрын
Blowing the lines does not clear the pump. I just placed a space heater in the bay while it was parked if the temp fell below freezing. And yes leave it in city water mode for blowing. Also don’t forget any outdoor showers. Thanks for the questions!

Great and thanks for the reply. Do you know which valve might bypass the water heater?

Great vid but I'm having a problem. 2022 GD Solitude with the P4 system. I do everything like it says, set my valves to winterize but when I hit the pump, I can hear it running but I have no suction at all. Pull the short hose out of the jug, put my finger on the end, no suction. Any suggestions? I've double checked all the valve settings, closed all the faucets, no suction
@ThoseWhoGlampTogether2 жыл бұрын
You might need to rotate all of your valves. Sometimes they stick and moving them helps.
@karlaerdmann7830 Жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late response but this might help the next person... You can open a faucet inside so it isn't trying to fight the air pressure in the lines. That has helped me in the past if the pump wouldn't prime with the pink anti-freeze.
@ThoseWhoGlampTogether Жыл бұрын
That is a great tip! Thanks!

@@ThoseWhoGlampTogether I have the very same issue and I sit here befuddled, as I’ve done everything step by step and can’t get the pump to prime. I’ve opened each faucet indoors one at a time and still can’t get the pump to draw fluid. Did your pump eventually prime?
@ThoseWhoGlampTogether Жыл бұрын
@@nthnrnz33 maybe turn on your pump on the inside and then the outside switch. Not sure just a process of elimination
