Honestly I don't think so, I like his music, not all of them, but there's real work behind it, and I know a lot of producers that could write an album in a few weeks, including me. Sure that would probably not be a masterpiece because it needs a certain reflexion that takes time but I think the waiting often comes from all the promo, tease, label things... Savant just doesn't care about those "codes" and that's why he's savant :)

You are a true inspiration to someone with severe ADHD that when you get it under control you are capable of harnessing true genius. My 4 year old and 2 year old triplets also suffer from severe ADHD. We have chiptune dance parties every day, and they always include some Savant. I put on your performance from The Gathering 2014 and my girls called you "Wizard." So now when we have our daily dance parties I know at some point my girls will ask for "Wizard." You rock, you inspire me, and are a testament that a large mental hurdle can be overcome and turned into greatness. Keep it up Wizard.

@ElTeteh9 жыл бұрын
VefomeTMoonRise Bang Tang ***** Well, ring the free knowledge alarm ! First, I'm 15, I got Aspergers Syndrome and Savant Syndrome. So I know what I'm talking about (Not as much as a professional, but more than the average people x3) Yes it gives us a something at what our brain is way more successful than anything else. Every "Savants" got a different gift, and not everyone discover it in their life, for example I'm 15 and I still don't know what my brain is good at except being pessimistic as fuck. (Heh, this world suck so much) No I'm not unable to do anything else, I can do Math like everyone, I can write and talk like everyone, I can cook, eat walk, dance (even if I suck at dancing), have sex, learn, play video games, sleep, draw, and everything like every-freakin-one :3 Disclaimer on the next paragraph: Here's I'm talking about having Asperger's Syndrome AND Savant one, I don't know for one of them alone. Yes, the big disadvantage is a reduced capacity to understand the human social comportment, but it's not an inability, it's a difference, our brain got their own social functionalism, after a study a scientist said that "A country full of people like them would be totally strange to a normal person, but there will be absolutely no disadvantages compared to the actual society, actually, it would be a far more peaceful and kind place to live due to their usual extreme interpretation of empathy and ability to consider themselves as a group and not a single individual" This social incomprehension is mainly due to 2 things: -The first is the incapacity to understand the concept of certain "simple" things, like we just can't. -The second is a too large and thoughtful for other people that are just like "This dude is stupid/crazy" or simply doesn't understand or can't keep in mind all points of the debate in such a large scale (A classic brain will pull out a two sentences argument, I will pull out a book for a single one, because I absolutely want to cover all the points deeply to get a flawless piece of text (Like this comment you're actually reading)) So, yeah, it make us annoying people with amazing idea, I actually invented a total new way to live that will allow everyone to have food, water, a house, a television, a job, ect.. in a total and absolute *equality* (With a life quality of average people in France (don't know for other country sorry)) and also reuniting the world in one mondial perfect government while keeping country, culture and languages, and also, the most interesting part: While removing money for a more equal and incorruptible way of trading and accelerating scientific research toward medicine and space colonization. Every of that while repairing our past error with development of environment friendly energy producing and removing of nuclear power plants. Sound utopian right ? Well, not that much, I've proven everything of that true, the only things that's is still of our way is the corrupted rich people that would never let go their power for equality. This is why I promised to work hard my whole life to convince the world. (It's the short version, ask me if you want a total description of that Utopian-sounding rebirth of humanity :D) *So yeah, back to the initial subject !!* Check the website of Savant, on it he said he got Asperger *and* Savant syndromes, so he's good at everything, but incredibly good at music-making !! :3 I wish an amazing day guys !

Teteh You went off really far, not that it wasn't interesting. And it is not that I don't understand, I'm the same way, I often find myself replying to 3-5 lines of text with a essay length reply, having to constantly refine and shave off large parts (often times I just delete the post to avoid spending hours composing replies). I'm currently in the process for getting a legitimate diagnosis for Asperger Syndrome; almost been a year... I'm still learning about it but your comment helped informed me quite a bit of both of those syndromes.
@LiamMayfair9 жыл бұрын
Savant, I just want you mind my comment because I really want you to know how awesome you are. I consider your work fresh, unique, colourful and you as an artist are so inspirational. I've loved every single song I've listened from your albums, this one obviously included. And as a "businessman", so to speak, I think your selflessness when it comes to distributing your content, entire albums completely free of charge, and the fact that you make them available for purchase on Bandcamp so anyone can buy them at any price they wish only goes to show that you are a great artist and a fantastic person. I want you to know you are exactly the kind of artist whose albums I'd gladly buy for $20, unlike the shit coming from painfully untalented so-called artists some record companies have the little shame to put on retail shops. Be assured that as soon as I have the chance, your work is going to make a great addition to my music library, and that work will be rightfully paid. That I can tell you. Keep up your amazing work, because you earned my admiration and my money.

You, sir, are a musical prodigy. Your songs are so interesting... I feel as though they don't really fit into any specific genre because of how complex,/intricate,/high fidelity/stereo-imaged/catchy they are. On top of all of your amazing musical qualities, the one quality I must highlight, as the icing on top of your delicious cake, is that fact that you incorporate DEEP bass into your works. Most artists avoid going below 30hz, but that's where my subwoofer shines and your music makes it shine bright quite often. If you are ever in the L.A. area or Inland Empire on tour, then I must see you live.

I instantly bought the album after I heard this. The truth is, I am an audiophile, and recently I have become bored with my music. I had walked away from Savant for a while since I found some other artist who suited my tastes a little more; but since the artists in question so rarely release albums, and they have swayed from my music tastes, I decided to look up Savants most recent album. When I heard this, I instantly remembered what I had forgotten about the appeal of this music, and now I'm hooked again. I love this jam! LONG LIVE SAVANT!

I don't know if they are better like that. Some songs are I think like orphan but the rest is just a little more interesting in the remastered version.

Most of the remastered are great, except 1997, it lost that heavy old school house vibe that made it unique

I didn't listen to this when it first came out because I'd heard a few of the songs dropped pre-release and it seemed like it didn't compare to Savant's other stuff but after hearing Upgrade and Invasion it seems I was incredibly wrong. This is great Aleksander, keep up the amazing work!

To be honest, the last album you got out wasn't really my kind of genre and I do have to admit that you do a lot of different genre sounds, I would mainly call that the Savant genre. But this one, god, it's like again something new, with a mix of a huge kind of genre but god, you just did a damn great job man. I don't know how you can do that, that fast, only one month from your last one. Even if all your album doesn't fit what I do like, I mean it's really amazing to do so much high quality song, with some good headphones it's just amazing. I don't have a Beats but a AKG K545 and I'm feeling everything so well, bass, treble, instrumentals. Well just a huge fan, was amazed to see you on stage last year, hope you come back soon in the east of France :)

I'm impressed with your new rendition of the album, and I really like the direction you've taken with the majority of the songs. Orphan was one of my favorites, and still is. Basement has moved up on my list, and I really like the new tweaks you've given it! 11/10 would flail my body to these jammin' tracks.

sorry for spamming the comments, but I'm proud of this. here's why I love this album: you meet. Invasion's a but shy, but really glad you're there. almost right away, you see Invasion perk up, and you know you're gonna be good friends. you're still getting to know each other, but you have a good time like new friends do. then something clicks; you know you're friends and it gets weird for a sec. you both see it, but it goes on for a bit longer before you both start trying to cover for it. it gets more awkward until you both stop and give the other a chance to speak. there's a moment of small talk, until you say something that gets Invasions attention. the good times come right back to you, and you enjoy it...until you both get a it mischievous. you scheme and get a few laughs, but Invasion suddenly seems to lose focus, smile fading and looking away. you prod, and see that he's obviously remembering something hard for him. he starts to get agitated and even a bit angry, and you can't help but become agitated as well. it almost boils over but you both hit a point and decide to break up your little meeting. you part ways still a bit angry at each other...Invasion feels a bit broken inside, and you suddenly feel...just...really alone. you both see each other the next day and it's uncomfortable for a good bit. you don't want to leave though; something's keeping you there. you both know you have to talk, and it seems like the elephant in the room that you both have to deal with. while you're trying to figure out what happened, you start feeling something, like...something, you don't know, but it's killing you. you both start trying to say something, but neither one of you can stop. you both stop talking and take a look at each other -- and your eyes lock. for a moment it feels like a dream. you don't know what it is but...you have a connection. you take the time to enjoy the moment, and you realize that you just make each other happy being together... the rest is yours to imagine. hot damn that was cheezy, but it came to me while I was listening to the album all the way through. the sounds and the names seem kinda like a journey.

I love what you did with Desperado, there's much more depth to it now. This is one of those albums that only has good songs. Can't wait for the next album or song or EP or whatever you're planning! Maybe a concert in the Netherlands? :) Anyway, great album 10/10 - IGN Love you.

wow, this mastering you did to some tracks puts them on another level. I also love how "mastering a track" adds and changes so much more than most artists!
@DistantAngel649 жыл бұрын
mastering usually doesnt add too much the the mix, but im guessing cause he is the one doing the whole process he can just add in stuff and make it diff then a pre master version.
@poyabideogeim9 жыл бұрын
mastering is just making it sound louder and more balanced, the track itself doesn't "improve", that's mixing.
