to me....the real reason I always scream at the screen for a raven is the PERSISTENT detection.....a scan takes a conscious effort to search and area and then its gone...a raven shadowing your troops will save you from the INFAMOUS Serral Burrowed Infestor that is ALWAYS THERE!!! persistent detection is a MUST....aint nobody got time to scan just because "maybe"....just have a raven!

I don't get it. Dark have 4000+ minerals. Why isn't he building like 5 macro hatch? Terra figured it out long ego: have too many minerals, build 4-5 extra Orbitals. For Zerg a Hatch equals production, having extra Hatches equals faster re-max. 28:00 see again. Dark have 2000+ minerals and gas down to 150 supply but doesn't produce any units. 47 units production now but still 2000+ minerals/gas and down 178 supply. Dark doesn't have the Larva to re-max.

Day 6 of destroying balance whine. TLDR : Races are well balanced including protoss. Stop whining. Sure some minor tweaks can help adjust. Widowmine not OP but also not good game design. So more and more im being put off Winter videos due to the obvious bias and whine in the comments. We had the era of Terran whine and now is the era of Protoss whine. To make it worse most of the whining is done by people who don't play/understand the game themselves and try to form an opinion based on a small number of replays and winters own personal takes. (Also note the 'balance report' winter used in his patch review video uses extremely small sample size and the results are not representative) To that end I am going to make a post every single day on Winter videos to address some of the common complaints (focussing on PvT as that is where most contention is) Ladder : Over 50% of the GM playerbase is Protoss in every region. GM ladder games PvT win rates are - 54.14% EU, 56.40% KR, 53.26% NA. All in favour of Protoss. Pro Games : (source Aligulac, which is the number 1 rating system and records all pro games, has also been referenced by winter himself for those not able to think for themselves and only want to follow what winter says) September 2023 (2,965 games sample size) - TvZ 48.17% Zerg Favoured, PvZ 54.04% Protoss Favoured, PvT 50.04% Protoss Favoured. October 2023 (3,453 games) - TvZ 51.55% Terran , PvZ 51.68% Protoss , PvT 49.38% Terran. November 2023 (3,014 games) - TvZ 52.32% Terran, PvZ 53.16% Protoss , PvT 46.81% Terran. As can be seen nearly all of them are very close to 50%. They fluctuate each month and the largest variation away from 50% in the last 6 months was in June 2023 where Protoss were beating Zergs in 54.51% of games. The largest variation this entire year was February 2023 where Protoss were beating Zergs in 58.15% of games. The largest variation in PvT specifically was November 2023 where Terran was winning 53.19% of games. This highlights actually how close the games between PvT actually are when the largest variation by month the entire year is less than 4%. Second largest variation was August 2023 with Protoss winning 51.37% of games.

Zerg need nerfing? Lurker range and damage are too high, those Bio just walk to their dead within 1 second. No Larva inject and can still outnumber the production. Nydus is not even used yet. For some reason he has the minerals and gas, he went full-on zerging only and threw the game. When you have 3k minerals, 7 bases, and 58 dones (more than half ahead), lets stop building units and leave the game. It just doesn't make sense, as if he is fixing the match? Suss AF
