the fact all the new maps are so easy for terran to defend and turtle on, and we only kept the 3 easiest maps from the last pool for terran to defend and turtle on is questionable to say the least, is this really the direction for the game to retain some veiwership and playerbase in it's later years?

7:50 i thought pros did this so as to keep movement on the mimimap for the opponent for units that are in vision. otherwise seeing it move would be a dead give away that they are actively using their units. the "looking busy for the camera" sort of idleness

yes, but also so they don't get pushed to the side and their death if they get hit by something. For example haluciantion pushing medivacs into stalkers or a any kind of damage into queens. If it's just one corruptor you can still boost and unload.

Bruh despite dark up a base, and knowing Byun is turtling, immediately rushes to tech up to greater spire, it felt so hopeless and powerless. There's not much he can do if Terran just turtles up, 3 sensor towers covers the his entire side of the map, Byun can see every angle of attack, Zerg will always get the worse trade, so he's feels pressured to do damage and attack.

I would at least like to see Dark try to win, even if it was gonna be very hard. Base trading a freaking Terran and losing the game while still having 10k mineral and 6k gass in the bank would never have worked no matter how good the map was.

That first game has to be one of the dumbest things I've seen out of pro play in a while. Dark gave Byun the win by spamming brood lords, because all he had to do was kill the larva production and victory lap all over them with liberators after sniping the anti-air lol

I hate Brood Lords - even when BL/Infestor nearly killed the competitive scene a decade ago, it seems like more often than not, the best way to play around Brood Lords is to literally play AROUND them - and not actually bother even trying to engage the army itself. It makes for a really lame viewer experience.
