Well this was a great documentary. Some bands release "making of" DVD with bad amateur production and sell these 20$. Wintersun offered this for free and it's a well made and professional documentary. Thanks to Jari and all the band for this!

Well Jari, what you have done here for your fans is beyond amazing IMHO. I have carefully followed Wintersun's adventures since 2005 in hope to find any tidbits of info that would satisfy my envy of discovering some new Wintersun material. I have to admit that at some point during those long years i have doubted that Wintersun would find the resources and the energy required to produce something that would reach Wintersun's true potential. I feel now that i need to apologize (for having doubting you) in the light of what you guys are throwing at us (the fans) right now. Because clearly, you have been working your asses off hard! Real hard!! I mean negotiating Nuclear Blast, prepping the building of a studio, putting up a crowdfunding, putting together a package that is so full of stuff that it will require weeks maybe months to listen the integrality of it, marketing it by (among others) producing and realizing a nine parts documentary and FINALY producing, realizing, composing, writing, arranging, playing, singing, artworking, photographing a new album which will undoubtedly contain some of the finest metal music that humanity has to offer right now. I am not even mentioning the godlike skills that will be involved in the playing of some of the parts on this album. So, well, Wintersun, thank YOU!!!

another important information: in part8, jari mentioned that he had to get up at 4am to go to the forest by bycicle to be ready when the sunrise starts. that way you can estimate the distance.

I fucking love isolated tracks. I wish every band would put isolated tracks on limited editions of their albums, it really is a seriously *invaluable* tool if you want to learn how to play the songs on the album. I can listen to just the drums track to learn exactly what was being played, and then I can play everything BUT the drums to listen to while I'm playing the part, to practice fitting into the groove with the rest of the instrumentation!
