I feel like this song was waaaaaay ahead of its time. It took me about two years to begin to appreciate it. It's only gotten better ever since. Now in 2024 and Time II finally being released this song comes back to haunt me in the best possible way. Great! You should really do that one next, it's a ballad where you can really hear how amazing Jari's vocals are. His best vocal performance to date. I think it's the most beautiful song in the world. Incredibly emotional and powerful with a strong message. Jari has put up the newest album in full with lyric videos on his youtube channel. "Hey guys!" Excellent video as always. These guys are quickly becoming a band I like along with Alestorm, Demons and Wizards, Helloween, Running WIld and a number of other metal bands. Those rehearsal videos were actually part of a bonus DVD for their second album Time I. There's one more rehearsal video (Land of Snow and Sorrow) so maybe you want to watch that one next. You definitely have to check out some of their old stuff as well, some shorter, fast and crazy songs. I recommend Winter Madness or Starchild, there are some pro shot live videos of these songs from their show at Summer Breeze 2017.

Wintersun is my favorite band. They're incredible. And yeah...if you get the chance to see them live, you really should. Their shows are fun as hell. Sound just like they do on the album and the crowd gets super into it. The show I went to, they played the album Time I in its entirety and a few songs from their first album. Also, FYI - the video you watched was kinda messed up. That muffled sound at the beginning was a glitch in the video. The song on the album is a lot clearer at the beginning.

Unfortunately this exact verson of the song was perfect before youtube screwed it up because of a copyright matter or i don't know what. In the beggining there are many guitar sounds that you couldn't hear because of that issue, the drums seemed loud and exactly at 2:56 of the video the sound turned louder and cleaner (Judging from your reaction, you seemed to be impressed but in the reality you couldn't enjoy the true beauty of this performance). I tried to upload the same version because i still have it but they once again f**ked it up.

You should do the same for the first Ensiferum album, that album is one of the most perfect album ever made. From start to finish. Token of time, Old man (one of my favorite song ever), Little Dreamer, Treacherous Gods (again an amazing song!). Jari is simply the best!

You should do some reactions from their first album self titled- Wintersun. Jari Maenpaa, the singer, wrote the first album by himself. He played everything but the drums. He had the same drummer kai Hahto for that. The problem is videos are limited for that album.. But do Winter Madness or beyond the dark sun at least

I think reaction videos are dumb personally. These days I get loads of reaction videos suggested to me whenever I listen to a Wintersun song despite never having watched one (until just now to check if I’m somehow wrong in my avoidance). I don’t understand why somebody would waste time listening to a version of a song being talked over while somebody gives an exaggerated and obviously opinionated response to it :s why does it matter what someone else thinks of a song? Music is subjective as heck so I don’t see what’s to gain. If you like it then that’s all that matters. I suspect but don’t know that most of the viewers of these videos are people who have already listened to and like the music reacted to, so making these is an easy way of getting a ton of views. Just sit there and ruin a song. Each to their own though and this is just my opinion obviously. No offence meant :)

No offense was meant by my comment as I said, and as I said it's purely my own opinion. Can you please explain what you mean about Jari liking your videos? I never mentioned Jari's opinion and I don't mind if other people think differently to me. It's just an opinion after all. Sorry that I seem to have offended you. As I said, no offence is meant but obviously that doesn't mean none can be taken :/ It was a comment about my opinion on reaction videos in general due to how subjective music is, not a comment exclusively about your videos. If it helps any for me to state a positive, I'd imagine reaction videos sometimes help people find new music they like which is a good thing, and any sort of content takes time to produce which should be appreciated. I also think it's really nice that this is something you do with your son. Sorry again for any negative feelings caused. I like people to be happy, not bring people down :/ I can delete my previous comment if it's still bothering you, but personally I think having a range of views on a topic is a good thing. The world would be a very biased place if people only spoke when they held the same view as everyone else.
