Kind of a magical historical place to visit! Thank you for all the information in the description and telling us as you go along. Such a lot of things to see and admire. It shows people have made a successful effort to present it all. Intersting how the collection evolved to such an extent. Hello Carina Gryp, Happy Saturday! I visited Winterthur twice for this video! I genuinely enjoyed both visits. Indeed there’s a lot to see. H.F. DuPont was quite a collector. He was also a horticulturist. He hired his good friend, Marian Cruger Coffin who was a landscape architect to assist with the design of 70 acres of the Estates Gardens. I’m looking forward to my next visit when Mother Nature’s in bloom. H.F. DuPont’s style of garden is much different then his second cousin Pierre at Longwood. Pierre built a French display garden and Henry went in a different direction to a natural or wild garden. Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate your continued support! 🌺🦋🌸

No, it was once a DuPont Estate in Delaware. It’s been a museum since 1951. Winterthur also has beautiful grounds for hiking, leisurely walks, etc. Thanks for stopping by. 😊
