That’s how my dad got me addicted lol. A hook and squid on a light spinner and I’d catch macs all day as a kid. I’ll do the same when I get to that point in life lol.

bonito also cans up amazing, only slightly below albacore and above the other tunas IMO between smoking and canning the shelf life isn't too much of an issue. such a versatile great fish.
