This is how I discovered my ASMR, though I had no name for it at the time. It was fourth grade, circa 2001. I called it "focusing on focusing" as the tingle would be triggered any time I paid attention to someone quietly doing their work. I thought it was some sort of empathetic reverberation. I did NOT get a lot done during quiet work times after that.

I have been in an exact library like this in Sweden. I loved it so much, especially with the window glassed up to the ceiling, opening up a whole view of green tree and leaves, then blue sky with white clouds. I used to stay here during my thesis work but every time I get to visit this place, it feels opening a portal to my own world. With peace of course.
