Musa deserved better, especially as a singer. I get that Bloom is the leader of the club and the main character, but Musa could've been a great leader of the musical band too. She's the fairy of music and it's her dream to become a singer. At least some more scenes in which she sings with Bloom would've been much more appreciated.

It’s so awful how they could’ve revived Musa’s mom twice, but instead they didn’t take the opportunity and gave Bloom her whole family back instead, I get Bloom’s the main character, but that’s just extreme double standards and they never bothered to explain why the girls had different viewpoints or how that would affect their friendship or anything Also cinélume’s voice acting is horrific and I will hate it forever, I am never going to forgive them for giving Musa the voice of a 40 year old in season 3 - 4

They really should have followed their own previously established rules in seasons 3-4 for the character casting, it wouldn't have been so bad either. Cinelumè uses Arthur the Aardvark voices. The ideal person to pick up for Sara McCullough would have been Tamar Kaslov (voice Prunella Deegen) since Bloom is voiced by her best friend Marina (Helena Evangilou)...and the same with Nabu by getting Luke Reid....seeing as how Winx took the original Arthur voices for the Cinelumè dub for both boys and girls...and maybe they could have even got Michael Caloz or Oliver Granger to be Helia or Brandon at some point since Sky, Riven and Timmy are Buster, George and the Aardvark himself (and he's dating Francine as usual with the tech fairy.) as that's the Aardvark's middle name...and that's why he wears yeow and Tecna buys him sweaters!

I don't feel like Stella ever experiences anything nearly as bad. It doesn't mean I don't love her as a character, but I think she is a bit less relatable.

I stand by the fact that if they actually developed Musa and Riven’s relationship and gave Riven the obvious character development he needed to be a better person (after seasons 1-3 where they actually did try developing him), their relationship progression would have writing wise been THE BEST in the whole show. Not to mention Riven’s character would have been one of the best written among the specialists, if they made him actually grow to be a better person.

I have an unpopular opinion but in the Rivusa relationship, Musa is ALSO problematic! I tend to separate seasons 1-3 from the rest because season 4 added a lot of the hate everyone has for Riven. But here's the thing: Musa never tried to understand Riven's personality, she always try to change him. I mean Riven is clearly a complicated personality. He started as a mysoginist character (due to her mother abandoning him as a child, a true storyline that was sadly never explained in the show but revealed in the website around 2007) but started to realise at the end of season 1 he was in the wrong and tried to get better. But even after it, he's not someone who speak a lot about his emotions. And Musa need someone who is more open about his emotions, so she's always angry at him for being cold. But the worst she did to me was in season 3. They had a very small arguing in episode 9 because Riven told Bloom that if Sky didn't want to talk to her, she'll has to accept it. Which was kinda cold, but understandable from Riven perspective. But it made Musa angry. And for the rest of the season, Musa was still angry at him for nothing. And the ONLY moment she started to be nice again with him, was when Riven showed jealousy in front of Nabu!!! Because Riven finally showed his emotions. But still, this is where I realise that Musa has toxic traits too

Musa is a very important character to me. She encouraged me to not abandon singing even if people told me that I was bad. I sang Winx Club songs with joy for many years, until I actually became good. So I was always extremely sad when the writers deprived her of something, be it screen time, a healthy relationship, the leader position in the band, a Syrenix wish, etc. However, I enjoyed the plot line where she got her voice stolen because it was thrilling for me (at least, when I was a kid). I just knew that her voice was very important for her, so the threat had more impact to me. And since I've mentioned this topic: I think it would be fairer if, in the Water Stars episode, Arcadia forced Musa to choose between her voice and the Water Stars. Just think: it's an important part of Musa, just as beauty is for Stella and emotions for Tecna, and it can be returned, unlike her mother.

Before the comment section disappears let me just say that i really couldn't care much for the band. I'm glad they didnt accept the contract. I think Musa should've been a solo act. And i dont see how they could have managed a band and a contract with their roles as you know, guardian fairies, (attracting dangers like Diana, imagine how much disruption that caused to their audience, just because no one was injured doesn't mean an average person would be okay with that), half of them princesses with royal training to undergo if they ever get out of Alfea and so on. And they still kept together as a band and did concetts anyway so no loss. That dream seemed contrived for all of them except Musa anyway, who really should've aimed for the magic dimension instead of Earth. Phew that was long. But i got it off my chest. Even in earlier seasons ,it felt other girls had more going on than her(yep,even Tecna ) - Mirta in season 1 played big role but after that season,she slowly started to dissapearwhich is sad cause it would be interesting to see her more often Riven in season 2 felt like he was starting to become a better person so the fact that it wasnt a case makes me mad Oh and since this video is about Musa,I would like to point out that she is one of my favorite characters from winx club for a few reasoms: - I have a soft spot for idols/singers in show cause it was once my dream + they are often a such sweet characters - she reminds me of my mom. I wont go too deep into that due to privacy so the only thing I will tell is that just like Musa, my mom lost her mom when she was in her 20s (her mom had problems with heart) so.. - also Musa is a chinese character right? And I did heard people calling me a Mulan because of my apperance XD

7:08 This might be a little bit of a hot take, but I don't think Anik Matern is all that bad when voicing Musa. Sure, her voice doesn't match the character, considering Musa literally sounds like a 40 year old woman who smokes 5 packs of cigarettes a day, but at least she does a pretty decent job at her performance. Now, I'm not gonna lie, Anik's performance felt pretty awkward, yet decent during season 3. (With the scene of Musa and her mother talking, serving as an example) BUT, I felt like she showed her true potential with season 4. Even though her performance was still a little bit awkward and stiff at some parts of season 4, it really felt much better than her season 3's performance. (An example being in season 4, episode 20, when she, Flora and Aisha were trapped in Diana's dungeon and Diana was gonna send her knight fairies to capture the other Winx, she really went on hard with the line “OUR FRIENDS WILL COME AND RESCUE US!" Honestly, I just really loved that yelling moment and the little groan she does after.) It's quite sad that Cinelume didn't get the chance to dub the rest of the Winx seasons, cuz I would have liked to see how much her performance would improve. But either way, even though Anik is still on the bottom of my list for like Musa's voices, I feel like she still did a decent job at voicing her. (Musa)
